Privacy Policy

OpenTaper is a public directory. Patients do not create accounts, and we do not collect or store patient health information of any kind.
Patients
You can search the directory and view provider profiles without an account and without giving us any personal information. We do not ask for, collect, or store any medical or health information about you. When you click through to a provider, you leave OpenTaper and go to that provider's own scheduling website, which has its own privacy practices.
Providers
Providers who list a practice create an account and submit professional information (name, credentials, license details, practice location, and the profile content they choose to publish). This information is used to operate the directory, verify licenses, and display public profiles. Account authentication is handled by our infrastructure provider, and payments are processed by Stripe — OpenTaper never sees or stores full payment-card details.
Analytics
OpenTaper does not track profile views, click counts, or other engagement analytics. We are an informational directory, not an advertising or lead-generation service, and we do not measure or monetize the traffic between visitors and providers.
Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to keep providers signed in to their accounts. Patients browsing the directory are not tracked with advertising cookies.
